THE PROPOSAL
July 1, 2022
Jonnie and Nicole met in May 2015 at their mutual friend Pierce Robson's high school graduation party. Jonnie and Pierce were far too nerdy to talk to girls in high school, so Pierce's mother, Sharon, took the liberty of inviting all the girls he had ever spoken to. For Jonnie, it was love at first sight. It took Nicole a bit of time to warm up to Jonnie's outspoken personality and high energy. She did want to be invited to the infamous Zuramski barn parties, however-a text from May 25, 2015 reads, "Give Jonnie my number so I'm definitely invited to his barn parties".
The rest is history!
After exactly 7 years of dating, Jonnie proposed on July 1 in Ocean City, MD. 84th Street Beach is Jonnie and Nicole's favorite home-away-from-home, as both his parents and her father have beach homes on the street. Jonnie sneakily set up a blanket and champagne on the beach while Nicole got ready for dinner. As soon as they sat down, Nicole could spot Mr. Zuramski's beard on the balcony above, and instantly knew what was about to happen. She said yes before he could even ask the question!
